Playing a slightly different set to what they performed in New Zealand over the weekend, My Chemical Romance reportedly treated the Brisbane audience to an eclectic mix of cuts from across their celebrated catalogue. If what MCR played in Brisbane last night is any indication, many of those fans might just get what they were hoping for. With reports of deep-cuts, album tracks and rarities being played at shows across the globe, mixed in with the obvious monster singles, MCR fans across the country have had plenty of time to dream up their informed dream setlists. With many fans having been in possession of tickets for these shows for two years, there has been plenty of time for conjecture as to what My Chemical Romance might play when they finally made it downunder. Oh yea, the slow down you mention in Metal Slug when there's lots going on is the game itself, it doesn't have to do with your CPU or GPU, the link I provided earlier has more info about it, and there's patched Metal Slug roms to avoid this slow down, now the Taito Type X slow downs in High Resolutions, this one actually has to do with the GPU, if you upgrade the GPU it should run fine.My Chemical Romance lead vocalist Gerard Way shoots flames out of a flame thrower. Also if I try and play the taito typeX street fighter II on higher resolution settings it would also go from playing fine to Slowing down to a crawl. But after you play for a few minutes and there is a lot going on within the screen it just "slows down" a bit. From what I can find it seems that the 750 ti is the best I can get in a Low Profile Thanks I will definitely take a look at what you posted! It would be great to take care of the metal slug issues because it would be fun to play those now! I've only noticed it in the metal slug games and they start out fine. I think I'll pick one up here within the next few months hopefully. ![]() That MSI gtx 750 ti is only 130 bucks on newegg. If so, maybe we can check some other configs and figure out what is causing it. When you mention slow down, would be something like that or for some other reason there's a total slowdown in your games? Here is a video showing the game after the patch: Now, I imagine the slow downs you mention doesn't have anything to do to CPU or GPU, Metal Slug and some other games has slow downs even in the real consoles, that's why there's some hacks to overclock the game, like Metal Slug 2 Turbo: Hi, I read here you mention Metal Slug has some slow downs, and you have a really nice PC for retro gaming, a i5 3.30 ghz with a basic GPU should be enough. Thanks in advance for any advice you may have! I don't have a cabinet build or I would look at just ditching the case all together. I'm wondering if the attached card would be sufficient with my build to play what I currently have running? Also what kind of head room with emulators would I have? If this would be enough I'll pull the trigger on one by Christmas but if not then I may be looking at trying to port out my parts into a full size case of some sorts. So all that being said I'm limited in video card choices with the low profile case. ![]() Of course I'd like to also get a larger monitor for this build and play it at full res. I have Street Fighter 2 "working" but it only plays at low res on a 20inch monitor. I'm also trying to include some Taito Type X arcade games that you can find online. Currently my PC will slow down when playing MetalSlug through Mame. I'm running MAME, retroarch (NES, SNES, NES64, GENESIS) and Daphne emulators. The specs are I5-2500 16gb ram and a Geforce GT610 1gig GPU. Currently I have a low profile HP PC running my build.
